I really had fun making this cake + cupcakes! I made these for our friend who just turned 25 yesterday! Me, my sisters and friends decided to go to her house at 11:30 pm, 30 mins before her official birthday :) of course, with the help of her husband we successfully surprised her lol. She thought that she was getting a surprise present when her husband made her closed her eyes and guided her to the bathroom (HAHA). and then out of nowhere…baaaaaaammmm!! all the eggs, flour, muffin mix, milk, god-knows what else in there were thrown to here LOL. It was fun but we surely made a mess!

Anyways, here are the pictures after her blowing the candles and what-not that caused the cupcakes out of proportions O.o

In case you’re wondering, the cupcakes are raspberry-filled vanilla cupcakes with raspberry buttercream. The cake is chocolate with raspberry buttercream filling :)

A newly engaged friend of mine (congrats again!!), Devina, ordered a dozen of cupcakes last Monday – as an attempt to once again surprise her sister lol. This is her third time ordering cupcakes: one for her friend’s birthday, her sister’s birthday, ( THANK YOU!! :D ) and this time is for her youngest sister who just moved to Canada. Devina told me that her sister loves orange (the colour), yoga, dance, and books! I just had to make a bookworm with one of the cupcakes. It turned out really well and it’s one of my favorites he-he ;)

I made vanilla cupcakes (filled with blueberries – as requested) with vanilla buttercream. Since my brother also likes fruity cupcakes, I made another 12 extra to munch at home :D All cupcakes were gone within the next day!

Thanks again Devina for the fun order and I’m really happy that the birthday girl loves the cupcakes! :)

WOWWWW It’s been too long since my last update! No, it’s not because I don’t bake anymore, but it’s because I’m planning something bigger ;) So just stay tune and bear with me, will ya? ;)

For the past few weeks I’m having fun with the fur piping tip that I bought a long time ago. So, when my good friend, Roberto (who is an awesome web developer & marketing coordinator lol) invited me and my boyfriend to attend a party to welcome Ciça from Brazil, I said YES right away!

Beaver is one of many Canadian animals – beside moose, etc. So I thought it would be cute to make one for her with a Canadian flag and “Welcome to Canada” sign at the back ;) It was a triple chocolate cake (chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filled with white chocolate). I’m pretty happy with the result as were everyone at the party! :D YAYYYYY

P.S.: Ciça made the best passion fruit mousse! Pic is above my beaver cake <3

I have to tell you…after making these cupcakes, I’m officially in love with Chocolate Ganache!!! Personally, I don’t like anything too sweet and I love dark chocolate! I made these for my friend’s graduation/her dad’s birthday party. And I munched on the leftovers hahaha! I can’t stop eating them! There goes my diet lollls.

Made these babies for our church’s new English service, Toronto International Family Church. It’s located on Lakeshore, just steps away from the beach! I decided to make a Spring theme since the weather was really nice at that time. Flowers, ladybugs, hearts! <3  Can’t wait for summer to come!

I made these cupcakes & cakes for my boyfriend & friend’s birthday :)

Didn’t have much time to make and decorate these since their birthday was on a weekday. I made the cake the night before (from 11 pm – 2 am). It was my fault, I watched Sex and the City 2 when I knew I had to make cakes lol. But it was worth it…it was such a good movie!!

Anyways, the next day after work, I had to make the frosting and decorate these. The party was at 8 pm. So I left 1 hour early from work, got home at around 5:30 then I finished it around 7:30? haha.. could have done it better if I have more time :p

I don’t know why but I LOVE to eat fruits during the summer, esp. cold fruits lol.

I decided to make fruity cupcakes with matching frostings :) They turned out very pretty!!! I made around 35 of these guys and they were a hit!

Just in case you’re wondering why the grape frosting look a bit weird, it’s because I tried an experiment with it – mixing it with grape puree, which kinda messed up the colour lol.

All in all, I was very happy with the result of these cupcakes – definitely gonna make some more! :D

Who doesn’t like banana and chocolate together? It is indeed a very moist cake, filled with cream, banana, and caramel-rum drizzle!

I made this as per my brother’s request. He LOVES this cake, he almost finished 75% of the cake! :9
